From CNN: Newt Gingrich surges.
From CNN: A new national poll released today shows former House Speaker Newt Gingrich vaulting into a virtual tie with front-runner Mitt Romney over the last month in the Republican presidential race.
The same survey indicates businessman and former talk show host Herman Cain’s numbers falling during the same period. Cain has been mired in controversy for the past two weeks over allegations from four women that he sexually harassed them in the late 1990s them when he was head of the National Restaurant Association.

Would you be willing to spend the night in New York City with Occupy Wall Street squatters? The New York Post’s Canice Giove did it, and her snapshot of the crazy, leaderless crowds is amazing. Giove spends the night with an “anarchist and a girl dressed like the devil” in a neighborhood where the 7-11 is all sold out of bacterial powder and wipes, tents are erected for safe sleeping of gay transgender and co-ed groups, and the threat of rape…is real. The movement which started September 21st shows no sign of unity. You won’t believe your eyes as you read….

Herman Cain is holding his head high after a tough week of harassment charges and a media frenzy surround it. Cain continues to campaign hard and trying to shutdown all media questions at appearances. Today on Sunday talk shows however, leading Republicans called for Cain to tell the whole story. End the speculation to spare his campaign, AND the GOP. Could be another hard week. Latest polling info here.

Occupy Wall Street New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Oakland, and any other place Move-on.org and Acorn could pay or con students and lost souls to protest, are starting to push back. Police protection and overtime in the City of Oakland alone has cost taxpayers TWO MILLION DOLLARS to push back protestors who don’t even know their cause. The Democrats might try education and Get Out The Vote instead. That only costs THEM!

Barack Obama appeared as if he had lost his way in Europe today. Without enthusiasm, answers, or a way out, President Obama was forced to try to explain why America is almost as vulnerable as Greece. With Iran perilously close to nuclear weapons, China looking the other way about so many things, and Israel poised to send a message by missile if necessary, we need EXPERIENCE in The White House.

You go inside or if they won’t let you in, you shut ‘em down. You sit in front of their doors,” Frank Cordaro of Des Moines. Occupy Wall Street planners have set their sights on actual political events. Like the Iowa Caucuses. Americans are tiring of the nuisance protests, which are interrupting traffic, leaving cities a mess and full of vandalism. Voters may be less tolerant if our rights to vote are impeded.
