First Lady Michelle Obama gave a rousing convention speech, looked beautiful, and was well-rehearsed. Inside the convention hall she seemed to be a hit. But the latest Washington Post/ABC News poll shows that the “War on Women” and the Obama persona, is no longer working for the First Family.

In a week when both Lance Armstrong and NEIL ARMSTRONG shared the headlines, we are reminded that true heroes don’t come along every day. Yet as Kitchen Cabinet guest columnist Melanie Strum writes this week… “Eager for blast-off is a nation of unassuming and reluctant heroes — ordinary Americans.
