funders claim that Perry doesn’t have enough of a track record to pull in the massive number of $2400 individual donations required to make a serious bid for the presidency.

Conservative Republicans in Texas say “No. Texans are starting to lose confidence in Governor Perry’s conservative values.”  Still others say that Perry is too reminiscent of George Bush, and that it’s just too early to recruit another Governor from Texas to run for The White House.
