Sarah Palin’s Masterstroke
October 5, 2011

The Real Thing

Of course there are some diehard Sarah Palin supporters who are disappointed, but GOP strategists recognize another Palin media masterstroke when they see it.

Of course she could have waited!  And waited!  And waited!  Enjoyed the attention as the hungry media struggled to drum up more drama  by exploiting Sarah Palin’s possibilities.

But Sarah Palin didn’t wait.  The minute Christie was out, SHE announced her “decision” the very next day.  This is her way of preventing the media from leveraging Republicans, continue to build conflicts and expectations where there aren’t any.

The focus can now be on the real GOP leading contenders, where it should be.

Sarah Palin will have a BIG voice in 2012, because she has terrific instincts and because frankly,  she always does the right thing.  In the political world, these characteristics make her so unique, and so powerful when she chooses to use her influence, that she doesn’t HAVE to run.   Until her kids are grown.

In the meantime, she makes a wonderful salary as an observer.  In GOP circles she continues to make friends because she plays fair.

When the day comes that Sarah Palin does want to take her place in government, the doors will be wide open.

A tip of the hat from The Kitchen Cabinet, Mrs. Palin… for showing real class in an era when we don’t see it very often.

  1.   Sarah would be the first politician I believe in that I would vote for if she ever chooses to run. At this time I think she has more influence where she is. Also with her book, bus and other tours and tv show she is more accessible to us.
