The Christian Science Monitor offers this story revealing that a retired FBI agent, 63-year old Robert Levinson, who vanished years ago in Iran, is still alive and held hostage.  Levinson, the father of 7, is pictured in this video frame grab from the Levinson family website showing Levinson in a hostage video they received from unidentified captors.  In the video Levinson begs, “Help me.”

Women in the heartland state are trying to weather lost jobs, groceries and gas that cost more than they have, and mortgages on the brink.  Is it any wonder there is little patience for national leaders who are doing nothing to successfully heal the economy?

Should Herman Cain dared to step into the national spotlight?  Or did he deceive himself by believing that his past and present would not be illuminated?  Kitchen Cabinet women are offered some perspectives that will help bring closure to the Cain chapter of the 2012 race.  Among them? Why Cain’s book contract may have discouraged him to come clean on his behaviors.  Regardless, the Atlanta radio talk show host is a big disappointment.

Not a big surprise, even so.  Supporters of Herman Cain gathered in Atlanta hoping that his answer would be different.  Instead, the beleaguered GOP presidential candidate is stepping down, but says he will still be heard from.  Gloria Cain attended.  Hear Cain describe Plan B, as he calls it, and his promise “not to go away.”   Most close to the campaign say Gloria pulled the plug.

Protect yourself from online predators.  Richard Beasley, pictured here, was released hours ago for robbing and murdering respondents to his Craig’s List add for farm workers..  Especially if you have teens and college-aged kids looking online for work, beware.  These are our times.

President Obama is hurting so badly for support in Battleground States that he’s sending VP Joe Biden to try to reach out to Jewish voters and working class white men who are leaving him in droves.  Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are in a dead heat in crucial states like Florida, which helped bring home the president’s 2008 win.  If Joe Biden is your secret weapon, aren’t you in deep trouble?

Newt Gingrich must be waking up with a smile on his face!  Rasmussen Polling numbers have given him a LEAD over Mitt Romney, and FOX News puts him neck and neck with Romney.  Gingrich’s staff quit on him, twice.  He has been considered old news by commentators until his recent series of debate one liners.  The public welcomes his straight- talk.  Will the numbers follow him to Iowa?

Freedomworks and some great Tea Party thinkers have put some elbow grease behind their protests.  Rather than camping out in parks, the Tea Party has come up with its own BUDGET PLAN to reform the economy! As expected, the plan takes no prisoners.  Say goodbye to foreign aid, student loans and farm subsidies.  But the Freedomworks Tea Party Plan seeks to balance the budget, and that’s more than our PAID thinkers are doing!

The Misery Index is deepening and this week, Commentary Online outlines the long painful list of  economic headaches which are resting on the backs of Americans.  President Obama, meanwhile, continues to cling to his vision of change.  Read the painful list of “changes” in our economy which have shown up like paper cuts on the hands of hard-working Americans in the past three years.  It’s simply amazing.  We can’t afford any more of Barack Obama’s definition….of change.

Who wasn’t involved in the cover-up of Jerry Sandusky’s sickening abuse of young boys.  How could so many family men sleep at night knowing the secrets they were keeping?  A warning for parents about the prevalence of such sexual predators in our schools, our communities, and our homes.  To make things worse, Sandusky is on the taxpayer payroll…even now.
