“The Tea Party point of view of no compromise whatsoever is not a point of view that will eventually produce a presidential candidate who will win.”
This from former Secretary of State Colin Powell on ABC’s This Week. Is the General correct? Will we sell our votes down the river on principle and leave Barack Obama in the Oval Office to sink our economy? Tea Party voters are fed up with Congress, AND the President. We don’t think any respectable Tea Party Patriots will waste their sacred votes. Read EXACTLY what Powell put on the record.

We reported that both men found dead in the Craig’sList murders so far, were FROM Ohio. Only one was from Ohio, Timothy Kern, and David Pauley, the other victim of apparent robbery and murder, was from Virginia.
Thanks to the nephew of David Pauley for correcting us:
“Your artictle list both men from Ohio. David Pauley is from Norfolk Va I know because he was my uncle. He was only in Ohio to answer the ad.”
The Kitchen Cabinet apologizes for the mix-up on David’s home state and offers our condolences to your family after this terrible tragedy.

A sharp look at the strengths and weaknesses of Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich today in The Washington Post. Do you agree with this assessment? “Gingrich is the former speaker of the House of Representatives for a reason. In the success his talent brings, he lacks the discipline his prominence requires. He can spend years building a movement — then undermine it in a day. The phoenix always reemerges, but there are ashes around him.
So what do Republicans want? Pastel safety or neon risk?”
