2012 GOP Contenders

Concerned and conservative women need not grind their teeth about the GOP field of presidential candidates.   The recent GOP debates should give us assurance that we DO have qualified and patriotic Americans who want to serve, who want to

lead, and who ALL have skills and character.  It will take  a qualified team, almost an army of  leaders to slam America into reverse and save the U.S. economy in 2012.  Governors, Senators, sitting and current Congresspeople, even committed C.E.O.’s will all be necessary.   The only question remaining is how to arrange the seating?

In a way, Republicans have an embarrassment of riches.  We have talent emerging at all levels, including superstars Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and Congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin.   Michelle Bachmann is another.  Her first step into presidential politics may not take her to The White House, but she has proven herself  a good thinker and a principled legislator.   Herman Cain may not be positioned for a major campaign but he has shown that he is a level-headed thinker and a good communicator of  Republican principles.  Rick Santorum will live to fight another day!  Ron Paul, will have to be happy in Congress.  Newt Gingrich is never short on ideas and when there is a new day in America, he might prove to be a valuable counselor.  Jon Huntsman…..should return to China and finish his term.  Or at least he should learn to finish SOMEthing.

Most importantly, economically-conservative women now have the opportunity to take a good hard  look at two U.S.

Leader Of The Free World?

governors, one of which will likely lead the GOP in 2012.    Conservatives can find fault with both Rick Perry and Mitt Romney, but with a sinking economy, do we have time to  focus on old news?   The most important mission for economically-conservative women voters is to unseat Barack Obama, any way, any how.  Women who work inside and outside the home need to take a look and determine which of the two, Romney or Perry,  have the heart, the ground support and the organization to beat Barack Obama.  Once the Democrats are out of power, the same man must have the abilities to attack a $14 trillion dollar debt, and run a $7 trillion dollar economy.  THAT’s the job.

Radio Talk Host Michael Medved

Radio talk show host Michael Medved said today that there are two kinds of Primary voters.  Primary voters who want to make a point, and Primary voters who want to someone who can WIN.  Women who are breadwinners or co-breadwinners in 2/3 of all of our homes in America need to decide if they want to make a point, or if they want to vote for someone in our GOP Primaries who can send Barack Obama packing.

In the coming weeks and months, either Rick Perry or Mitt Romney will likely become the choice of conservative women, independent women, and hopefully even some economically-concerned democratic women, for one simple reason:

Anyone other than Barack Obama in The White House…will be a giant improvement.
