Michele Bachmann has had a difficult patch this week with one of her chief aides defecting to the Ron Paul camp. Not everyone in politics is quite ready for the energy, the creativity, and the passion of a conservative woman like Congresswoman Bachmann, but that isn’t going to stop her. She is making history as one of the first Republican congresswomen to run for the presidency.

Special To The Kitchen Cabinet: Latest inside polling shows that Barack Obama’s presidency is in desperate trouble, and not just with Republicans. Women voters across the board don’t trust him to protect their families, don’t believe that Obamacare will be good for their health, and are more certain than ever that the President is LOST on the subject of the economy. It’s going to be a long year for Democrats.

The New York Times offers an AMAZING piece today, suggesting that President Obama is becoming more and more isolated, and limiting his inner circle. Nixonish, some say. If Liberals are saying Obama is getting more and more out of touch, should we believe it? Being the Leader of the Free World is probably not quite the boondoggle he expected.

Military wives in Hawaii have given President Obama a new name: President SELFISH. Read here why military families don’t look forward to the Obama’s expensive holiday retreats: “Because he’s here, I didn’t get to see my husband all weekend, on our baby girl’s first Christmas, so he can have his vacation. So when I can’t get to my house because he wants to play golf it just adds insult to injury and yeah, gets on my nerves. I agree that it’s a sensitive subject for some of us who are more [a]ffected by his being here.” And there’s more…..

We need to grease the revolving door in Congress, without question. But voters need to maintain their awareness and not turn away from the mundane business of government IN BETWEEN elections. Particularly women voters, who are so crucial now in determining the outcome of elections, must be able to speak with authority to Congress and The White House whether its campaign season or not.

“Seriously, in 2008 we elected a community organizer, state senator, college instructor, first term senator over a guy who spent five years in a Vietnamese prison. And now he’s lecturing us about how America’s gone “soft”? Really?” — Jonah Goldberg

In the early 60’s there was no more exciting excursion than a trip to a Sears department store at Christmas. The big store windows were filled with snowy displays and Santa’s sleigh. The aroma of warm cashews and peanuts and chocolate greeted you at the door….

“To the American People:
Christmas is not a time or a season but a state of mind. To cherish peace and good will, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. If we think on these things, there will be born in us a Savior and over us will shine a star sending its gleam of hope to the world.” – Calvin Coolidge, Presidential Message, Dec. 25, 1927
Look how far…we have gotten away from where America and its people…began. It’s time to RESTORE America in 2012.
