Cabinet Bulletin: Sarah Palin and Michelle Malkin Take Sides

Sarah Palin Is Defending Newt And His Record

We have never known Sarah Palin NOT to do the right thing.  Even if it was not beneficial to her.  Women might not always agree with her on EVERY comment on every FOX program, but generally she stands for strong, principled leadership.

Michelle Malkin has been on the rampage!  The other night Sean Hannity asked her to STOP finding something wrong with EVERY GOP candidate, because SOMEONE needs to be the nominee!

Tonight, Sarah Palin has come out again for Newt Gingrich…in a subtle way.  For some reason she is not endorsing.  For some reason she isn’t making an official statement.  For some reason, she isn’t CAMPAIGNING for Gingrich either.  Yet both Todd Palin, and Sarah Palin keep speaking basically, in support or defense of him.  Here’s Sarah Palin’s comment tonight on FOX NEWS:

“That is my hesitancy there still with Ron Paul’s candidacy. However, on the domestic front, he is the only one who has been so adamantly passionate about doing something about the suffocating debt, about doing something about reining in government growth and actually slashing budgets – $1 trillion a year, he’s been specific about until we get our hands around this – I respect that.

Palin Isn't Troubled By Gingrich's Past As Michelle Malkin Is?

I appreciate it. His austerity measures that he wants to see Congress adopt in order to rein in government and let the private sector actually grow and thrive and hire more people.

It’s absolutely spot on. He’s not the only one vilified though. Look at Newt Gingrich and what’s going on with him. The establishments attack. They’re trying to crucify this man and rewrite history, rewrite what is that he has stood for all these years.

So it’s not just Ron Paul. I believe it’s also Newt Gingrich that the establishment, that liberal media, certainly, that the progressives and the Democrats don’t like.”

Tonight Michelle Malkin Tweets in OPPOSITION to Palin.  That’s amazing that these two great women leaders of Conservatives seem so far apart!   Malkin Tweets in answer to Sarah Palin’s comments:

Malkin Not Happy With The Field...But Does NOT Like Gingrich OR His Record

” Wish SarahPalinUSA would acknowledge that it’s NOT just Romneybots who distrust Newt. It’s not. is.gd/y0vq8Q

Michelle Malkin, like many stepping forward in the past week, think Newt Gingrich is a polarizing, and baggage-bearing candidate for the GOP.

Why Sarah Palin is weighing in AT ALL during the Primary season, is out of character for her.  She must feel that this is a decisive moment for Gingrich.  It is possible that Newt Gingrich has been loyal to Palin, an adviser to her in political decisions she has made.  That the two are even on the same planet, is news to most!  They have never campaigned or appeared together that we know of.

Palin Endorsed AND Campaigned For Haley

Another break in ranks is that both superstar Tea Party women elected officials, Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina, and Senator Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire were the FIRST to come forward and support Mitt Romney.  The Kitchen Cabinet saw the two coming forward almost together, as a signal that perhaps Palin was directing their moves.

Apparently not.  Wouldn’t it be nice to hear from Palin her view on the strengths and weaknesses of both?

  2. Again you are assuming to much KC.  Palin is fighting against the practices of the election process within the republican party.  She simply pointed out that she is in disagreement with how the election process is being handled using Newt as as example as well as Ron Paul. Personally, I am in agreement.  And come on!!  The picture of Sarah Palin you chose, are you kidding me?  Standard liberal media practices.  You have stooped to the level of Newsweek and there Michelle Bachmann photo.

Give me facts, just the facts….
You want to know what Sarah Palin is saying?  Here ya go.http://www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/notes/sarah-palin/cannibals-in-gop-establishment-employ-tactics-of-the-left/10150516734848435

  3. I’m with Michelle on this one…Santorum & Paul are both more viable with less baggage, Sarah should keep quiet

  4. No, KC; Sarah Palin does NOT know this is a decisive time for Newt. She DOES know that this is a decisive time for Conservative Americans. She knows that Conservatives need to HAVE A BIG DISCUSSION defining our positions on issues clearly, and NOT letting the Establishment Republicans CORONATE  our Candidate after only 3 or 4 Primaries. And she, like many of us, thinks that Newt is carrying that Banner, and Mitt is Not! Mitt is a nice man, and I’m sure sincere But, in my opinion he is too wet-fingure-to-the-wind for the times, and wants to be President MORE than he wants to be a LEADER!!! I also think that I do see an intemperence, and lack of discipline in Newt, as some have stated, so I think he DOES have a problem there. But like Rush said, Newt has currently been serving as a VESSEL for the Voter’s frustration with the TONE-DEAFNESS, and UNRESPONSIVENESS of the Republican Establishment to our concerns. And he CERTAINLY represents our COMPLETE DISGUST with the Lame-Stream News Media!!!

  5. I wonder why Sarah Palin doesn’t run for Chairman? Of the RNC? That would make a difference.

  6. Love Mitt and I am a lifelong Republican and certainly not establishment. It concerns me greatly any support of Newt, who in my opinion,is just a power grabbing immoral man.Give me morals anyday and you will find a great leader!Mitt is that man and I am so tired of him being attacked by conservatives.

  7. Why is it, that no one mentions Rick Santorum? Here is a man that knows how to balance a budget, will get rid of Obama Care, Will stick by the Constitution, and knows how to take care of our National Security threats, but no one gives him the time of day?
    Go Rick Santorum

  8. I voted for Sarah Palin when she and McCain ran… I didn’t like McCain, but voted for the lesser of two evils… I’m surprised that she would take this stance with Gingrich.
I would think she would support Rick Santorum. Gingrich is a Progressive Croanie… We need someone in there with new ideas that is young and fresh. One that does have the “Washington Ways” I hope and pray that the Sleeping Giant that was awakened with the Tea Party isn’t lulled back to sleep with Gingrich if he gets into office.

  9. Sorry I meant DOESN’T have the Washington ways!

  10. We try to give Santorum a lot of credit!  He is doing better and better.  However, he is garnering only about 10% of the vote outside of the heavily Evangelical states.  That’s why the media seems to leave him behind.  It may be that the strong Right will step away from Gingrich if he doesn’t win Florida and move towards Santorum.

  11. This article is heavily slanted and imbecilic.  Newt has a record as a conservative, and Romney has never been – and never will be – a conservative.  It’s as simple as that.
