Do you really think the biggest issue facing the United States this year….is Contraception?  Free birth control?

No.  But the White House clearly believes that by offering middle and low income women the POSSIBILITY of receiving free birth control pills, Democrats might be able to BUY the votes of undecided women.  As the women’s vote will likely determine the outcome of the 2012 election, you can imagine why free birth control is suddenly on the table!

Fortunately, women can’t be fooled.  The only way President Obama could

possibly deliver free birth control pills to millions of American women would be by helping himself to their hard-earned paychecks at the same time.

There’s no money to keep construction paper and spelling books in 2nd grade classrooms!  How can taxpayers be expected to now start underwriting free contraception!

Even more distasteful to economically-conservative women are the underlying principles the President and his strategists have crushed while daring to make promises they can’t keep…and that aren’t RIGHT.

First, if the President of the United States wants to change the landscape of our entire economy…he could make it a national initiative, especially in the African American community, to teach teens and young adults to bring children into prepared homes.

Second, if the President of the United States wants to build trust with American women...he might remember that women treasure the FIRST and FUNDAMENTAL right under the Constitution, the Freedom of Religion.   How dare The White House even think of compelling the nation’s premier Catholic health care providers to dispense BIRTH CONTROL when it is in opposition to their beliefs?

What little confidence women had in the President was LOST when he stepped across this line.  After all, it has been just three years since President Obama laid his hand on the Bible and promised to “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States!”

Third,  the latest talking points for public Democrats have included telling women voters that the GOP is not their friend.  That Rush Limbaugh doesn’t respect women of either Party.  That Republicans are willing to DENY everyday women the RIGHT to have access to free contraceptives.

Let’s all stop for just a moment.

Who really thinks the least of America’s women?  A President and his frightened re-election team willing to manipulate hard-working women by making expensive promises, or Conservative Republicans who are fighting to protect their paychecks and the futures of their children?

The problem, Mr. President, is not that women don’t welcome a bargain.  Your problem is that our votes aren’t for SALE.

Especially not to someone willing to sell our families down the river.
