Backroom Strategists and Political Veterans Know The Score

YOU deserve to know what all the strategists know.  What they’re saying, how the puzzle pieces fit together.  THAT’S what we’re here for.  Be prepared to hear some things you may not like, study yourself online, evaluate what The Kitchen Cabinet shares… for yourself.

TRUE:  Newt Gingrich has skyrocketed in the polls, and for a brief shining moment has passed by the steady numbers of Mitt Romney.

FALSE: Newt Gingrich’s numbers are solid and reflect the belief of GOP voters that he is the most likely to defeat Barack Obama of all those in the GOP presidential field.

TRUE:  Newt Gingrich attracts the votes the GOP already has, not the crucial independent vote which wins the election.

TRUE:  Rick Perry’s numbers are gently rising in Iowa.

FALSE:  Evangelical interests wouldn’t try to quietly prevent Mitt Romney from showing success in Iowa.

TRUE:  Rasmussen reports today that throughout the surges of Michele Bachmann, then Rick Perry, then Herman Cain, now Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney has held steady at 25%.  Rasmussen projects Newt Gingrich’s real support today:  20%.  Not 40% as hinted in media reports yesterday.

TRUE: Ann Romney polls higher in preference among GOP women  for the role of First Lady.

FALSE: Romney took his Keep America American slogan from the KKK.  This was a veiled attack on Romney’s faith, which did not give the lay priesthood to all men until 1979.  (Incidentally just this week a Baptist church was forced to overturn its ban on mixed race marriages in its congregation.)  http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/chris-matthews-apologizes-for-appalling-lack-of-judgment-in-msnbc-story_b102583

TRUE:  Herman Cain, for those who still have hopes, ran for President to promote his book.  Many in Georgia believe he could have run successfully for Governor of that state and won, before all the revelations spilled out about his extracurricular activities.  http://www.mediaite.com/tv/george-will-calls-herman-cain-entrepreneurial-charlatan-who-used-campaign-as-a-book-tour/ and also here http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/there-is-no-herman-cain-campaign-for-the-presidency/

FALSE:  Michele Bachmann’s campaign has been a failure.  Not so.  She did have staffing problems, but Americans have been exposed to her strong, principled views and her great intelligence.  She would be a marvelous Chairwoman of the Ways and Means Committee.

TRUE:  MSNBC, Barack Obama, the Democratic National Committee, are targeting Mitt Romney because he is the only candidate among all the good GOP contenders who has been able to put his name on the ballot in all 50 states, has an organization of the strength to challenge Barack Obama, and who can draw Republican, Indepedent and conservative Democrat voters as Reagan did in 1980. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/theoval/post/2011/11/dnc-targets-romney-with-new-ads-in-swing-states/1 and here http://articles.nydailynews.com/2011-11-28/news/30452454_1_andrea-saul-mitt-romney-president-obama

This is why the DNC is spending money on opposition commercials placed against Romney during the PRIMARY season.  This is why Barack Obama has tried to parallel Romneycare with Obamacare.  This is why the national media has been eager to have giant debates with many candidates to scramble GOP alliances.

TRUE:  Even knowing these facts, GOP voters have are still having trouble embracing Mitt Romney because of his formality, intellectual presentation, and some, because of his Mormonism. http://conservativedailynews.com/2011/12/one-in-five-conservatives-believe-mitt-romney-is-too-liberal/

TRUE:  GOP voters must face facts.  Every dollar we spend fighting among ourselves, we can ‘t place against Barack Obama.  This is why today, conservative’s The Washington Examiner endorses Romney.   http://campaign2012.washingtonexaminer.com/article/romney-gops-best-choice/256896    and here   http://pjmedia.com/blog/mitt-romney-beats-barack-obama-if-republicans-are-smart/

The Kitchen Cabinet appeal? FOCUS ON BARACK OBAMA, not GOP infighting. Which candidate poses the most serious threat to to Barack Obama’s hold on The White House, is the question to be answered.  Prepare for a war like you have never seen.
