President Obama: Forceful But Not Believable
September 12, 2011
President Obama says “No games, no politics, no delays.” This kind of forcefulness might have broken ground three years ago, but the President’s credibility with Republicans and Democrats is suffering so badly that a loud thunk is likely to be heard when his bill reaches Capitol Hill. Even Democrats are looking at his 62% disapproval numbers and starting to rethink their re-election strategies and hometown presidential visits. A better approach might have been to suggest a UNIFIED approach? Both sides agree upon a jobs bill? The President’s focus is SPENDING more tax money and shipping it straight off to union workers who need projects, and who will VOTE Democrat.
After wasting a TRILLION dollars…..frankly, we’d rather let Congressman Paul Ryan think this one through, Mr. President.
Here’s today’s Rose Garden pitch. He couldn’t even say NO GAMES, NO POLITICS, NO DELAYS….without READING it! Sheesh!
