Michele Bachmann: Great Leader, But Short On Horses

Michele Bachmann....Ahead Of Her Time?

Ron Paul And Kent Sorenson Already In A Photograph....

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann hit another bump in the road this week when top Iowa campaign aide, Kent Sorenson,  not only abandoned ship, but jumped to the Ron Paul campaign.  Bachmann, understandably furious, maintains that the departure of her senior aide was motivated by money, dangled by the Ron Paul campaign.  It’s not exactly good campaign etiquette to steal top strategists and ground staff from other key candidates, especially in the final days.  Nevertheless, Congressman Paul’s team smells victory and apparently Ken Sorensen also sensed victory, but not with the Bachmann camp.

This isn’t the first time Michele Bachmann’s campaign has been visited by defections.  Her New Hampshire team quit months ago and she has had to re-staff on the campaign trail more than once.  No wonder. Michele Bachmann likes to move at the speed of light and wherever she goes there is a flurry of ideas and activity.  Her congressional office is like an airport compared to the quiet, and possibly TOO quiet offices of her colleagues on the Hill.

Michele Bachmann is a doer.  She is a conservative woman on the national stage.  She is a conscience in Congress.

Hardest Worker On Her Campaign

Not everyone in government, or on the campaign trail, is ready for that.

Whether she comes out of Iowa with big numbers or not, she will be the winner.  She has increased her visibility in the country, stood up on the national debate stage for strong defense and economic security, and anyone who has listened knows she is one of the great thinkers in America.
