This week a little earthquake in Washington, D.C., soon another hurricane to be vigilant about.  In California, families NEVER know when a devastating shaker might occur, and schools and workplaces are especially equipped.  Whether your loved ones need to be alert about tornadoes or hurricanes, fire season, earthquakes, or even lightning, somehow most of emergency preparation is left to the woman of the house.
