Caucuses And What They Mean
February 8, 2012
Here are the results from Tuesday’s Colorado, Missouri and Minnesota Caucuses. Why hold a vote if no delegates are attached to the winner? In Colorado, Minnesota and Missouri, the Caucuses are considered “non-binding.” Delegates are actually awarded to candidates later in the Spring at “District Conventions.” What that means is that Rick Santorum gets a lift today, but come March or April, GOP party leaders and appointed delegates might change their mind and give him little, none, or even ALL their support. There’s no telling.
For now though, about 300,000 people voted in America yesterday. Bragging rights go direct to Rick Santorum who was helped by Newt Gingrich’s inability to compete or spend money, and Mitt Romney’s focus on upcoming large states where delegates ARE at stake and can actually be appointed.
It’s a win for Santorum though, through and through. Rick Santorum needs media attention, and the ability to raise funds. Yesterday’s hat trick, will give him a giant lift with important contests ahead.

Santorum is a Washington Politician that has NO CHANCE of winning the presidency! He is part of the problem in DC and on fiscal issues, his record is NOT conservative; in Congress, Santorum used earmarks and supported big government programs in education and transportation! When these facts come out over the next few weeks/months his support will diminish.
If the GOP Party and appointed delegates do not REMEMBER, and represent the will of the voters, the voters will have to set them straight in future, aye?
