An eight-vote victory in Iowa has sharpened the rhetoric and the attacks on Romney and it will just escalate at this Saturday evening’s New Hampshire debate. The way Barack Obama sees a Democracy, its really a MONARCHY! That’s why President Obama has decided to make a “recess appointment” and place his own Director in his own, newly-created federal agency…the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Richard Cordray,a former Attorney General from Ohio received the recess appointment which should have been approved by the Senate. What’s causing a stir, is that the Senate wasn’t in RECESS!

The great battle to the finish between Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum went on until 2 a.m. Iowa time, when Iowa GOP leaders determined where one last set of precinct votes were left uncounted. It was a SQUEAKER! Mitt Romney had to have woken up happy AND relieved this morning, but the real sunshine was pouring in through the windows of Rick Santorum’s room. In a remarkable finish, the man who had no money, no staff, and a borrowed pick-up truck, went nose-to-nose with frontrunner Mitt Romney. Here’s how he did it.

Edith Pfeffer and Carolyn Tallett of Clinton County, Iowa, decided the closest Caucus count in the history of the state. At about 1:00 a.m. Iowa time, they were woken up by campaigns, CNN and the state party in search of one missing precinct. But, the mistake was not in Clinton County. Edith and Carolyn had completed their patriotic duty perfectly…the numbers were simply not properly counted. In just minutes, Mitt Romney went from a tie….to a winner.

Sorry to be a little disenchanted with Iowa, but after months and months of hearing about Caucuses, watching a dozen debates in advance of the FIRST voter turn-out of 2012, and only 1/5th of the registered voters turned out? Surely you’re kidding! In a year when Barack Obama must go and 73% of all Americans know it, Iowans couldn’t turn off the TV and go to a PTA meeting and VOTE? More venting here……

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney’s big precincts have yet to report.
Ron Paul’s ground forces have done an amazing job turning out their vote. Rick Santorum benefiting from the support of Pro-Life and Evangelical forces. Newt Gingrich bringing up the rear, but still at 13%. Perry, Bachmann and Huntsman 10% to 0.
Santorum is performing amazingly considering that he claims to have spent only $125,000 in Iowa spreading the word!
