All The President’s Headaches? Includes Mrs. Obama

The First Lady wearing $500 tennis shoes to charity events for the poor?  Giving the evil eye to former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel?  Hosting East Room Halloween Parties fit for Hollywood?  The new book out this week about The Obamas is raising eyebrows in the West Wing….and in the EAST WING.  They want to serve the poorest of us?  They want to live like Oprah.

Newt Gingrich is licking his wounds in New Hampshire tonight, but the sun will come up for him tomorrow. The Debbie Wasserman Fan Club

If you’re not already in it, we’re sure you’ll want to join The Debbie Wasserman Fan Club!  The Democratic National Committee Chairwoman is one of the best players on the GOP team!  Every time she speaks, she motivates our voters.  Today she talks to FOX News and explains how many JOBS Barack Obama has created during his term, and how unafraid he will be of comparisons with say, GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney.  March on Debbie!

A Romney Barbecue

The Meet The Press GOP New Hampshire presidential debate had more fireworks than the ABC version on Saturday night.  Mitt Romney was skewered my one and all of the competing candidates. Did any of it stick?  Not really, but Newt Gingrich showed his best stripes, and Rick Santorum showed his bull dog commitment to social issues.  Rick Perry offered some interesting moments.  If you missed it, check out the highlights here ….and if you must, NBC.

Not A Glove On Him

This week’s GOP debate sweepstakes the winner is:  MITT ROMNEY according to all the pundits.  But, Newt Gingrich had a good night as well, and Rick Santorum held his ground.  Only Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman seemed to eat up talk time. The biggest loser?  ABC.  The worst-prepared panel EVER.  And Governor Rick Perry from Texas?  Gotta give him credit…he’s still on his feet.  Sunday morning on NBC, a televised Meet The Press debate follows.  It’s good television and informative.

Stay Current: The Latest Rasmussen Numbers

Rick Santorum gets a post-Iowa congratulatory gift of ONE MILLION dollars in a single day, and is ramping up in New Hampshire.  The field is going to be motivated and…angry, with Newt Gingrich fighting to hang on, Jon Huntsman with a big investment of time and money, and Ron Paul trying to demonstrate strength outside of Iowa.  Here are the latest polls.

Red State: Don’t Underestimate Rick Santorum

Red State makes a case for Rick Santorum and for the former Senator’s chances of becoming the Republican presidential nominee.  In its post, Red State reminds readers that Santorum has just as good a shot at The White House as any of the GOP field, if observers will just quit emphasizing the negatives about the sometimes bold Pennsylvanian.

The Long Knives Come Out

There won’t be enough column inches to cover all of the attacks on new “frontrunner” Mitt Romney.  An eight-vote victory in Iowa has sharpened the rhetoric and the attacks on Romney and it will just escalate at this Saturday evening’s New Hampshire debate.   There are some interesting developments too, as some conservatives recognize that Romney might be hard to stop if he wins New Hampshire.  Get ready for the campaign to get very…personal.
