California-based Solyndra Solar Power Lost $500 Million In Your Tax Dollars
Absolutely unbelievable. The Obama Administration is slowly but surely unwinding. Under pressure to reveal “who” in The White House pushed through $500 million in green energy loans, against the wishes of the Office of Budget and Management, Solyndra Executives will take the Fifth Amendment this Friday, and refuse to testify before a Congressional investigation. Why? Their testimony would likely reveal that senior White House advisers, such as Valerie Jarrett, pressured the Office of Budget and Management to finally DELIVER $500 million in green energy loans to Solyndra. The Vice President was scheduled to appear at a ground-breaking ceremony, and President Obama had visited Solyndra himself. George Kaiser, the billionaire funder of Solyndra, visited The White House at least four times trying to secure the loans. A huge donor to Obama, apparently his wish was granted. The $500 million in loans, now lost in a bankruptcy, were placed in SECOND position so that private investors will be paid back
Obama Has Championed Solar Power Developers AND Funded Them

I respect our Constitution, especially the amendment that gave us Personality and Protection from the Govt. Having said that: I feel that when a crook steals Tax’s Payers Money, He/She should not be permitted to take the 5th! The 5th should not apply to people/corps who rob the People’s Bank! In my personal opinion, the 5th gives an opportunity for corrupted politicians/lobbyists/corporations to steal our tax dollars and get away with it!! We need an amendment to exempt the 5th during hearings and investigations, IF and ONLY IF the entity received Federal Money-whether be a “bailout”, a “grant” or a “loan” (more like a gift in the case of Solentra!). If WE are going to help YOU make money with OURS or LOSE IT in a bad business Concept or Plain Corruption, IT IS THE GOVT’S JOB TO PROTECT OUR MONEY!! AND THE PERSON SHOULD HAVE TO, AT THE MINIMUM, ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS DURING THE PUBLIC HEARING. THEM TAKING THE 5TH ONLY MADE MY BLOOD BOIL AT A HIGHER TEMP. (IF THAT’S POSSIBLE). FEDERAL MONEY SHOULD = TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY TO THE BOSSES (THE TAX PAYER). THEY SHOULD BE FORCE TO GIVE US ANSWER!! HECK: WATER BOARD THEM IF WE HAVE TO IN ORDER TO GET ANSWERS! THIS SMELLS BAD AND GOES ALL THE WAY TO THE WHITEHOUSE AND OBAMA!! WHAT DO THEY KNOW ABOUT STARTING UP A BUSINESS? PRODUCT MARKETING AND WHETHER THE BUSINESS PLAN WOULD TURN A PROFIT IN THE SHORT OR LONG RUN?? THEY ARE CLASSROOM IDIOTS! I AM SORRY, BUT YOU CAN NOT LEARN BUSINESS EXPERIENCE FROM A BOOK!! IT ONLY GIVES YOU A BASIC FOUNDATION.
