Watching Out For Her Own Real Estate Or Watching Out For Us?
Nancy Pelosi is not winning us over as a “taxpayer advocate.”
Nancy Pelosi is one of the wealthiest members of the House of Representatives. According to the Washington Post, Paul and Nancy Pelosi are worth at least $42 million in real estate and hi-tech holdings. Newsmax, Associated Press and The New York Post to name a few, have accused Pelosi in past years of earmarking funds that would directly benefit commercial waterfront property owned by her family in San Francisco. Property that yields some $3 million a year in rental revenue. Now allegations are emerging that one of her brother-in-law’s big projects is going to be the lucky recipient of $737 million in loan guarantees for a new solar thermal project in Nevada!
Crony Capitalism Sarah Palin calls it? What is so amazing about this particular giveaway, is that the Obama administration JUST LAST WEEK became embarrassingly exposed for handing out an inappropriate if not illegal grant of $500 million in energy loans to Solyndra Solar Power, funded byone of Barack Obama’s billionaire donors.

One would think the Pelosi family would want to stay under the radar on a similar giveway, but NO. Perhaps she senses the administration is melting down?
Here’s how the Pelosi gift works: Solar Reserve, LLC is the recipient of almost a billion dollars in federal “green energy” loans, and one of the key investors in one of the key investment companies in Solar Reserve, LLC is : RON PELOSI! Here’s the storyas it appeared in The New York Post, on Nancy Pelosi and her husband benefiting from her earmarking of water development funds just a stone’s throw from their own commercial waterfront properties:
“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi used her clout to get lawmakers to back a San Francisco redevelopment project near her multimillion-dollar rental properties, disclosure documents reveal.
Pelosi got House members to authorize $25 million to improve the Embarcadero port area, clearing the way for cruise-ship-dock development and other improvements to aid the neighborhood’s comeback.
The Democrat’s district covers most of San Francisco.
“The appearance is obviously not good, and she needs to be forthcoming about how this impacts her financial interest,” Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) told The Post.
He didn’t offer proof that Pelosi would benefit.Pelosi’s office confirmed that she got the provision included in a water-resources bill, which passed the House April 19.
But House financial-disclosure documents reveal that Pelosi’s husband, Paul, owns four commercial real-estate properties near the Embarcadero, which is home to many restaurants and hotels.
The properties earn combined rental income of more than $3 million.”
Well, are going to keep having to pass things in congress when the Dems. are in control. to see what is in them. When are we going to have a financial disclosure bill that will be enforced. That requires any member of congress or Senate. and their families ,and not just husband and wife, but will have to disclose when they may or will receive any financial benefit from any bill that is submitted to congress for approval.
