Nothing Like Georgia

by Sonja Eddings Brown, President of The Kitchen Cabinet

I have always heard about “Southern Hospitality” but this past weekend I experienced it firsthand.

The Kitchen Cabinet just returned from a tour of Georgia.  Never have I observed such a glorious mixture of butt-kicking passion and gracious gentility among women.  Cherokee County’s Federated Republican Women’s President Lori Pesta invited me to join with all the Republican Women’s Presidents from Georgia and welcome them into The Kitchen Cabinet.

It’s really true.  You know instantly when you’re surrounded by Patriots.

Miss Georgia 2011 Has NOTHING on the GFRW ladies!

When I rose to speak to over a hundred Georgian leaders of women at the Marriott Hotel in Greater Atlanta, I got just a little choked up.  I stood before a luncheon packed with some of the hardest working, most America-loving women, all looking back at me, and all willing to do ANYthing to save the country.  One look into their eyes and I knew that the United States is going to be OK.   Shaking hands and listening to their common mantra, the Republican women of Georgia echoed the very same words I hear everywhere:

OBAMA HAS TO GO.

It’s never “Harry Reid has to go.”  Or  “Nancy Pelosi has to go.”  We would like the whole carload to be shipped off to a distant shore, but the constant drumbeat in every corner of the United States is, “Obama Has To Go.”

I’m not sure Rahm Emanuel, who is parading as the Mayor of Chicago, really knows what’s ahead.  I don’t think David Axelrod, readying his SECOND Obama election campaign, has ever faced a formidable challenge from a furious and talented flock of economically-conservative mothers, working women, and community activists.  All of us intent upon protecting the futures of our friends and our families.  The whole slew of them at The White House…had better eat their Wheaties.

The Kitchen Cabinet will be reaching out to women in every state in the union to form an army of tens of thousands.  But what was clear in Georgia this last week, is that ALL THE WOMEN we need to put Barack Obama permanently into a PGA golf cart, are in the State of Georgia.

Cherokee County Republican Women Launch Their Own Office!

Ready…to go.   With a smile, a thank you, and a slice of Key Lime Pie.

A special thanks from TKC to the great women in the Georgia Federated Republican Women, to Lori Pesta for hosting us and doing such a remarkable job advancing The Kitchen Cabinet.  Thanks to Rose Wing, the new president of Georgia’s Federated groups for putting The Kitchen Cabinet front and center.

With economically-conservative women forming an army on the ground, the Obama campaign won’t know… what hit him!

  1. I hail from Alabama and believe me, most of my female friends still living there are equally as passionate as the gals from Georgia on this subject!  But just an editorial note….that should have been “Peach Pie,” not “Key Lime,” which is a Florida dessert!!

  2. I follow you on face book. You ladies are wonderful.
Keep up the good work. America is here because we are a nation developed for God by people who love God.

This country will stand and rise victorious over the liberal onslaught.

it is wonderful people like you with beautiful loving
Hearts that remind me daily that Gods love is greater
    Than any political machine.

Our ladies our women are our greatest anchors under
God and you have my deepest respect.

See I have gorgeous wife that I’d die for and she is my greatest support. I have a praying mother who is
Available and always near God. I have adorable daughters that remind me of Gods eternal blessings.
I’m thankful for all of you. It might sound mushy but is truth.
    God Bless

  3. I lived with a liberal woman for a few years in SanDiego, and at the time I was sort of unonopinonated out politics and the goings in Washinton, but she changed all that. After living with this person for 3 years I realized that I am a consevative and proud to say it. After seeing what  she did to promote the progressive liberal agenda, it does my heart good to see consevative woman coming together restore America. Thank you!

  4. I’m from Iowa, and I’m here to tell you the women in Georgia are SMOKIN’ hot.
Been to GA a ga-zillion & one times, lived there for a couple years in the late 1980’s, and was just there again last month.
The women are freaking GOREGOUS and also know what’s right for America. I love them all. (Especially one in particular from Macon).

  5. This Is an outstanding article. This is a time of fear and concern for the United States which is under attack from a president who has an insatible drive to socialism. It is absolutely wonderful to see these beautiful women of the south rising up to the challenges ahead of “Obama must go”. I applaud each and everyone of them in their endeavers. The focus of these ladies certainly bring hope to what has become a dismal situation in our great country. May God bless them. They are all true patriots with love for country.
