Nevada Results Trickle In
February 5, 2012
The Kitchen Cabinet can’t really figure out WHAT’S TAKING SO LONG for Nevada State Republican leaders to finish counting!
This morning, with 70% of precincts confirmed, here are the standings from the Nevada Primary Caucuses:
MITT ROMNEY 47.6%
Newt Gingrich 22.6%
Ron Paul 18.6%
Rick Santorum 11.1%
Geographically, Mitt Romney carried 85% of the State of Nevada.
How did the Romney campaign win by 25 points? Money? No. PEOPLE. The campaign was well-organized on the ground, and that’s what will be required throughout the rest of the Primary State battles. Organization, ground support, and money are the diet of a winning presidential campaign marching across the entire United States. Newt Gingrich is aching in all three categories, Rick Santorum will likely not endeavor to compete, and Ron Paul is already victorious in his goals.
Perhaps it’s time for the former Speaker of the House to start thinking about how he can help the GOP win in the Fall, instead of concentrating on how he can make a losing campaign, a win for HIM?
