Mitt Romney Declared Winner Of Iowa Caucus BY… 8 Votes

Iowa Caucus Count The Closest Ever

Women decided the 2012 Iowa Caucuses by counting the votes!  CNN, FOX, the Santorum and Romney campaign were held hostage all evening, trading leads as on precinct and then another delivered their votes.  By midnight however, it was a painfully-close race.  Clinton County, Iowa decided the race, and the devoted women who count all of the precinct votes.  At 2:00 a.m. Iowa time, Republican officials woke up the Clinton County election supervisor, trying to locate the results of ONE SINGLE PRECINCT in Clinton that was unreported.

The women, Edith Pfeffer and Carolyn Tallett, lifetime workers for Republican politicians and elections, corrected the State Republican Party, and stated that indeed their full report had been made, but the State missed it!  All Edith Pfeffer could say was, “It was really something to be woken up!”

Santorum Watching The Agonizing Totals All Evening

Re-checking made it clear that Mitt Romney had been deprived of just enough votes to pass Rick Santorum and win by 8 votes.

Poll workers and election supervisors, so often the great women of our communities and Republican women’s groups, RESOLVED accurately, the outcome of this most amazing, first battle of 2012.

Iowa Supporters Of Romney...Not Disappointed

Romney wins:

30,0015 to 30,007 votes.

  1. I love these women. I may not agree with their political views, but I admire their dedication and hard work. I was watching the phone call and as soon as I heard them, I knew the problem was with the state central committee, not the local caucus. They’re the heroes of the hour.
