This Morning’s MIX of political news:

Did you pay your taxes yesterday?  If you have your own business?  We need EVERY penny in Washington right now……

Two really ridiculous numbers are floating around about Hilary Clinton and the presidency.  One says 36% of Americans wish she was President now instead of Barack Obama.  61% say things would be the same or worse.  Another I read in the United Kingdom’s “Guardian” says 50.1% of those polled (who I don’t know) said the US would have been better off with Hilary at the helm, 49.1%      Hilary Clinton says there is less than zero chance she will run for President.

Word on Capitol Hill?  No Democrat wanted the burden of sponsoring the President’s new Jobs For America bill.  NO ONE wanted to sponsor it.  One Democratic congressman put forward his OWN jobs plan, and he also chose to call it “Jobs For America.”  That’s when you sit in the Oval Office and feel….irrelevant.  Your own party won’t even embrace your legislation, after a powerful and passionate speech too.

Al Gore losing his credibility on Global Warming!  A British blog writes asking today,  Is Gore a Help or a Hindrance To Global Warming?“Al Gore is a hugely polarising figure, particularly in his homeland. Whatever he does or says in this arena – no matter how cogent or sensible – will attract scorn and derision from those that just can’t see past the man. ”  Folks outside of the USA seem also to notice that Gore has lost his mind.  Meanwhile the science of Global Warming continues to be questionable at best.  Frankly, OF COURSE the Earth has different seasons! That’s why we take 2nd graders to see the tar pits in downtown Los Angeles, California where the dinosaurs froze!  Could we change it then?  No.  Can we change it now?  Probably not!

Brad Pitt says Jennifer Anniston WASN’t a dull wife, and this is economic news why?  Because Pitt sells People Magazines and that helps the grocery industry.   “Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend,” Pitt tells Us. “It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself .”     Aren’t you relieved to know.  THAT’s ALL!
