GOP Candidates’ Video Ads — Iowa On Fire!
December 9, 2011
We love campaign ads — little snippets of sound bites and posturing that try to capture the viewers’ immediate attention and deliver a focused message at the same time. At least that’s the intent. Presented here are the GOP Primary candidates’ latest as they race to the Iowa Caucus finish line on January 3rd.
Newt Gingrich is currently leading in the polls and has released the ad, “Rebuilding the America We Love”.
Mitt Romney’s new ad, “Leader”, promotes his steadfastness and commitment to his family, his faith and his country. Is that enough to seal the deal this time?
Governor Perry’s latest ad, “Strong “, says that he will stop “Obama’s attack on religion”. Faith is important, but it seems to us like this election cycle the economy is the moral issue that needs our candidates’ focused attention.
Michele Bachmann’s latest, “Michele Bachmann’s Path to Victory” outlines her strategy for the win. The poll numbers seem to indicate otherwise, but she has been working Iowa and New Hampshire harder and longer than many of the others, so we wait and see.
Rick Santorum has the endorsement of Sara Palin in his latest ad. The former Senator has also been working Iowa hard, spending the major amount of his campaign efforts there. He could be the Iowa wild card.
Channeling Monty Python’s Flying Circus, this Ron Paul ad, “BIG DOG” powerfully presents the concepts of smaller government and spending reduction and makes us smile to boot!
Jon Huntsman’s ad, “Restoring Trust”, proclaims that “America needs a consistent conservative”. Can President Obama’s ambassador to China make that sale? Not spending much time in Iowa, Huntsman seems to be placing all his eggs in the New Hampshire basket.

LISTEN TO ME GOP PEOPLE; I WILL NOT VOTE FOR NEWT!
It seems to me everyone is putting more emphesis on faith and religion except one that is Ron Paul, he is the only one that I know is a good christian but thinks its more important to do the job that he would be elected for. There are too many candidates that are flip flopping on the issues but only one that is consistant with everything that he stands for. Anyone that has any intelligence would vote for consistency. I am for Ron Paul he has convinced me on all the issues
