He thought having health insurance
should be at least as important as having
Auto Insurance.
He provided for the poor in his state
To buy their own PRIVATE health insurance
If they didn’t have it…
And encouraged EVERYONE to take more
Responsibility for their own health.
It wasn’t perfect, but it was a START.
