Oliver Stone Turns REPUBLICAN
October 29, 2012

by Sonja Eddings Brown

Oliver Stone, Renowned Political Observer…goes Conservative.

I am so glad I lived to see this day.

OLIVER STONE in an interview with Politico.com, slamming Barack Obama, the hand-crafted “Hope of Hollywood”.  Here’s Oliver in his own words:

“The country Obama inherited was indeed in shambles, but Obama took a bad situation and, in certain ways, made it worse,” write Stone and Kuznick, reports Politico.”

Should I pinch myself?  That sounds like Oliver Stone changing his…spots!  He sounds dreadfully like an economic-conservative!

There’s more:

“On ‘Imperialism’: “Obama has not offered a decisive break with

Barack Obama can’t keep a friend!

over a century of imperial conquest. His was a centrist approach to better managing the American empire rather than advancing a positive role for the United States in a rapidly evolving world.” says Oliver Stone.

On “Obamacare”:  “Obama’s failure to articulate a progressive vision was also apparent in the fight over health reform, which was to have been his signature initiative…Obama’s health care reform effort, marked by the inability to even refute Republican charges of death panels, was so unpopular that it became an albatross around the necks of Democrats in the 2010 election.”

Don’t you just want to roll around in it????  Oliver Stone sounds like a Republican!  IF it weren’t that he’s SELLING HIS NEW BOOK!  The 618-page book, slated for release Tuesday – a week before Election Day – from Gallery Books, slams Republicans and Democrats alike, and the authors’ assessment of Obama’s presidency is tinged with disappointment…according to Politico.

Oliver has always been a MASTER of marketing.  How DISENCHANTING though for Oliver and all of his future Hollywood dinner partners.

But not so fast.  Oliver Stone isn’t ready to attend the GOP National

Oliver Stone’s personal favorite in 2012.

Conventions.  He just thinks Obama is a failure and wants to sell a million books!  His real passion?  RON PAUL.  Even so, doesn’t that turn him into an Economic Conservative and a Libertarian on social issues and foreign policy?  MILES from the Democratic Party.

Not to worry, Oliver Stone can always get a seat at a Hollywood restaurant at CLINT EASTWOOD’s table!

By the way, who ISN’T fleeing the Democratic Party these days?  When was the last time you saw Nancy Pelosi trying to call a press conference? Or Harry Reid campaigning with the President?  Or Matt Damon and

From now on, Oliver Stone may have to ask Clint Eastwood to get him a table in Hollywood.

George Clooney?  How about Bill Clinton???

We’ll take this joyous moment in the sun, and read FREE excerpts of Stone’s book.  Why don’t you do the same?

  1. I hardly think Stone has turned ‘Republican.’  Stone sounds sorry that Obama hasn’t gone far enough to move to the country to the Left.

  2. Hate to say it but as much Stone says he’s disappointed with Obama, he’s not exactly espousing conservative views.  He’s calling America an imperialistic regime the past few decades and he says that Obama did not refute REPUBLICAN claims of so-called death panels in Obamacare.   Stone isn’t exactly saying that he is disagreeing with Obama only that he is disappointed with his handling of issues and his communications style.  I wouldn’t say that Stone is even close to turning “Republican”!

Maybe I’ll have to read his book to get the exact picture of what he’s trying to sell.

  3. Mr. Stone, thank you, for not endorsing BHO.  This article is great, so refreshing to see men stepping outside the state quo, like you and Mr. Eastwood.  You two are heros.

  4.  It is my opinion that Ollie is not a conservative! He is bashing Obama for not being a bigger Socialist “One Worlder”! His line has not changed! Stone does not like the way America is, and will not stop trying to ram this “Progressive” Commie crap down people’s throats! Don’t by a ticket to his movies, as you are supporting a Progressive Agenda!

  5. Thank you for not only not voting for Obama again, but for being independent enough to voice your thoughts.  I believe many will respond to your words!  I, too, will probably vote for Ron Paul.  But, the one thing I know is that I CAN’T vote for four more years of Obama.

  6. Obama isnt progressive enoughr for Stone… Stone doesnt dislike Obama bc he is not conservative enough. HE DISLIKES HIM BECAUSE HE ISNT PROGRESSIVE ENOUGH…. Stone in no way, shape or form sounds like a Republican… HE SOUNDS LIKE AN XTREME SOCIALIST WHO HATES ANY FORM OF COMPROMISE WITH CONSERVATIVES !

  7. Ron Paul Rocks. WE missed a great opportunity not electing him.

  8. Mr.Stone,Thank God smart people are waking up to our country”s biggest problem.Hopefully others will also. God bless America!

  9. I’ve seen this posted a few times on Facebook from Repugs who only know how to read half the story! Same people who are crying that whole “Obama didn’t build nothing…. blah, blah, blah”, because they either can’t finish a story or take things out of context. lol How easily can they be swayed? Oh yeah, they watch Fox News, nevermind!

  10. Why don’t you use an editor or spell check?  Surely you meant “sun” and not “son” in the last paragraph?  I can’t take this seriously if it is so carelessly presented, but then again, what’s new?

  11. We’re writing in between pouring cereal for our children. We’re also trying to win the election in six states orchestrating the work of great women all across the country…and in a Tropical Storm! Sorry! We do our best! Love to engage you in the future!!!! Thanks for helping us out!

  12. David Lee, if you do not want to vote for Obama, why are you voting Ron Paul?  A vote for Ron Paul and not Romney, is a vote for Obama.
