ATM’s Go To The Dogs
October 17, 2011

You Might Find Yourself Waiting In Line!

A British company, Canine Partners, is actually training dogs to help the disabled work with ATM machines!

They of course don’t put the password in, but they can be of help inserting debit cards and taking the cash!

A spokesman for Canine Partners shares the following:

“They are adept at inserting and withdrawing cards at ATMs to help owners in wheelchairs who are often not able to stretch far enough to do it themselves.

The charity, Canine Partners, which trains the dogs,

A New Way To Help!

claims: ‘They put in the card and take it out and take out the money and give it to the person in the wheelchair.

‘They can’t put in the Pin but a person in a wheelchair can go sideways on and do that.”

True!  Read about it here.   What would really be valuable is if Canine Partners would teach these dogs to balance our checking accounts!
