Women Speaking to Washington

The Name

WHY “The Kitchen Cabinet”

The name “The Kitchen Cabinet” was first coined to describe advisers of President Andrew Jackson who met with him in the White House dining room and kitchen.  In modern times, both President Kennedy and President Reagan created their own gatherings of trusted, personal advisers also known as their “Kitchen Cabinets.”

In the 21st Century, we have chosen the name “The Kitchen Cabinet” to represent tried and tested national leaders of conservative women who are uniting to offer their insights and ideas to Washington leaders.   It is our mission to represent the views and the best interests of economically-conservative women throughout America.  Women who do the work of the world, and who deserve to have influence and a strong voice in the direction of America.  We invite all concerned women in America to take their place in The Kitchen Cabinet.
