A small group of committed and concerned women formed The Kitchen Cabinet in September 2009. They love their families and they love America. With millions of voices, the Kitchen Cabinet founders want to encourage and enrich the work of our nation’s economically conservative women and their organizations.

SONJA EDDINGS BROWN

Sonja Eddings Brown is the President and Creator of The Kitchen Cabinet. A media consultant in Los Angeles, Sonja has represented athletes, entertainment figures, and corporate entertainment clients for fifteen years. Active in politics in California, she is an education reformer in Los Angeles and co-founded the largest charter high school in the country, with 4000 students. Sonja is the mother of three children and the wife of Lowell Brown, the Chair of the Arent Fox, LLP health law practice in Washington, Los Angeles and New York.

LISA L. EVANS

Lisa Lee Evans is a graduate of Stanford University and a distinguished singer, writer and musician. She has pioneered music and performing arts education for young people in the United States for 25 years. Lisa is the mother of four outstanding daughters, attending Northwestern University, Michigan and Stanford University. Her youngest will soon complete studies in Japan. Lisa Evans is a longtime national fundraiser for the GOP in the swing state of Ohio and married to international businessmen, Eric Evans. Both are devoted to contributing in the community and in interfaith circles. The Evans family has spearheaded community projects to support needy mothers in Sarajevo, orphans in Suzhou, China, and educational tools for AIDS orphans in Kitwe, Zambia.

DOROTHY WINDER DeVORE

Dorothy Winder DeVore was selected as California’s Mother of the Year in 2007. She is the mother of seven outstanding children and the wife of world-renowned Fetal Medicine specialist, Dr. Greggory R. DeVore. She has a bachelor’s degree in Child Development, and has been active in supporting crucial values-issues on California ballots. Greggory and Dorothy DeVore are respected for their generous philanthropic work in the Los Angeles area. Along with co-founding The Kitchen Cabinet, Dorothy DeVore serves presently as the President of California Association of American Mothers.
