Here’s how you start getting rich on Capitol Hill: “First, $750,000 worth of stock in drug maker Teva Pharmaceuticals was added to their portfolios at around $50 a share. Once Obamacare passed, the value of the stock rose to $62 per share. Subsequently, in 2010, a portion of Teva holdings was dumped from the Kerry portfolio, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars in capital gains (exact profits are unclear because politicians are only required to report ranges, not exact dollar amounts).

Rather than camping out in parks, the Tea Party has come up with its own BUDGET PLAN to reform the economy! As expected, the plan takes no prisoners. The Misery Index is deepening and this week, Commentary Online outlines the long painful list of economic headaches which are resting on the backs of Americans. President Obama, meanwhile, continues to cling to his vision of change. Read the painful list of “changes” in our economy which have shown up like paper cuts on the hands of hard-working Americans in the past three years. It’s simply amazing. President Obama reminded Americans this week that “all we need is to spread the sacrifice around.” In the Obama administration that seems to mean spread it on the backs of taxpaying Americans and keep everything else the same. The 53% objects. The 53% of Americans who ARE carrying the load, and scandals like Solyndra where our precious paychecks are wasted on campaign favors….really hurts Mr. President.
