The Wall Street Journal reminds readers that impassioned Pastors are hardly the toughest challengers to Mormon faithful. Remember the 2008 ugly battle to defend traditional marriage in California? The most expensive referendum in American history? The Mormons marched in front of Christians of all kinds, protecting the interests of families, many losing their jobs, losing business, being personally defamed, and vandalized. The WSJ suggests, “These are the enemies of the GOP?”
Don’t you think Harry Belafonte should stick to LYRICS? Belafonte proves again that he is out of touch with America, and likely with the African American community. Unemployment is higher among Blacks than any other segment of the country. Time to start looking for other role models for up and coming African Americans…men LIKE Herman Cain who believe every person in America has the potential to make their own success.

Average Americans are not eating as well as the Obamas, that’s for certain! Ribeye steak with deep-fried oysters. Miniature Waldorf salad with wine-poached apple balls, and candied walnuts. Rack of lamb with lemon and mint salad, chick pea puree with green beans and bittersweet molten chocolate cake for dessert. Spicy tuna tartar in sesame-miso ice cream cones. Tiny dumplings with tender skins filled with wild field mushroom or garlic chives. Thewok-fired lobster with chinese garlic sauce? How DO THEY stay connected to average Americans? They don’t.
